NPH
The NPH Ethnic Minority Business & Policy Forum is an independent Northern-based think tank that aims to support and represent ethnic minority businesses across the North of England while promoting economic growth, international trade, and inclusive policy development. The forum brings together experts from government, academia, and the business community to provide research, analysis, and policy recommendations on key issues affecting businesses and society.
Its work focuses on areas such as economic development, business growth, community cohesion, climate and energy policy, and international engagement, while also supporting the wider vision of the Northern Powerhouse by strengthening regional collaboration, innovation, and investment.
Yorkshire Asian Business Association (YABA)
Celebrating the Impact of British Asian Enterprise
The British Asian business community plays a pivotal role in shaping the UK economy, driving over 11% of new business start-ups and contributing nearly 10% of the nation’s GDP, despite representing just 4% of the population (CBI).
At YABA, we champion this entrepreneurial spirit by connecting communities with influence, amplifying policy voices, and creating pathways to prosperity.
Your voice matters. Your business matters. Join us in shaping the future.
Yorkshire Asian Business Community Action (YABCA)
Serving Communities. Driving Change.
Born from a deep commitment to social justice and community upliftment, YABCA was founded with a clear mission: to support those most in need across Yorkshire. Inspired by Sharon Jandu OBE’s work as a magistrate and her first-hand experiences of the challenges faced by disadvantaged individuals, YABCA was created as a grassroots initiative of the Yorkshire Asian Business Association (YABA).
The group brings together business leaders, changemakers, and local partners to make a tangible difference through outreach, advocacy, and action. Whether it’s supporting youth initiatives, tackling inequality, or responding to urgent community needs, YABCA is a powerful example of business-led civic leadership in action.
Be part of something bigger – where business meets purpose.
