Punjabi Roots is a Bradford-based cultural organisation celebrating South Asian heritage through music, performance, education and community engagement. Founded by Davinder Singh Romana, Punjabi Roots delivers dynamic cultural experiences that bring people together through the power of music, dance and shared traditions.
Events, Entertainment & Live Performances
From weddings and corporate events to festivals, stadiums and large-scale celebrations, Punjabi Roots offers a diverse range of entertainment services tailored to each occasion. Our services include DJ Sound & Lighting packages, expert Dhol drummers, Bhangra dancers, Live bands, MCs/Hosts and Brass Band and much more, creating unforgettable experiences filled with energy, rhythm and cultural pride.
Audio-Visual, Event Production, Media & Events Management
No event is too big or too small. Alongside our live entertainment, we provide professional audio-visual (AV) production, media and event management, including sound systems, lighting, DJ equipment, technical support, and film and photography crews. From corporate celebrations to festivals and private events, we work closely with organisers to deliver high-quality experiences. You may have seen our work at the NPH Gala Dinner this year and in previous years.
Education, Culture & Community Workshops
At the heart of Punjabi Roots is our academy and dedication to education, inclusivity and cultural awareness. Our engaging workshops introduce participants and students to Punjabi music, Dhol drumming and Bhangra dancing, alongside other art forms, providing opportunities to develop new skills, discover cultural heritage and build confidence.
Working with schools, community groups, arts organisations and festivals, we create inclusive, hands-on experiences that celebrate diversity, encourage participation and connect generations through culture.
From grass-roots community engagement to international festival stages, Punjabi Roots continues to champion South Asian arts and heritage, making culture accessible, exciting and relevant to audiences of all ages.
Punjabi Roots — keeping our roots alive while inspiring the next generation.
